PVDF Coating Aluminum Extrusion Profiles
▹Applications
The PVDF coating aluminum extrusion profiles produced by FONNOV ALUMINIUM is mainly used in windows, louvers, curtain wall claddings, etc. PVDF painted finish is very suitable for application in areas that exposed to external weather. It can assure the aluminum framework retain their color and gloss after long time exposure.
▹Advantages
PVDF is one of several Fluorocarbon resins. PVDF stands for polyvinylidene fluoride. Polyvinylidene fluoride coating based on a minimum of 70% Kynar500â or Hylar5000â resin complying with AAMA 2605 or GB/T5237.5 specifications. It is a resin used in architectural coatings that have super weathering characteristics.
▹Color Range
Many kinds of colors and finishes can be chosen for PVDF coated aluminum extrusion profiles.
▹PVDF Coating Process
The 2-coat system comprising of primer and solid or pearlescent color according to the architect’s choice. Surface shall be applied on a pre-treated aluminum substrate and oven-baked to a dry film thickness of 30 microns minimum. Alternately in a 3-coat system comprising of primer, color coat, and clear lacquer, to a dry film thickness of 40 microns minimum.
