Aluminum Profiles for Roller Shutter
In the hot summer, the roller shutter window system can adjust the sunlight entering, reduce the entry of heat, block the outdoor high temperature outside the window, and combine with natural ventilation, it plays a good role in heat insulation and cooling. In the cold winter, the roller shutter window can be fully opened during the day to ensure maximum light and heat entry, and it can also play a role in energy-saving and heat preservation. Extruded aluminum profiles in roller shutter window system and rolling shutter doors mainly include slats, guide rails (side tracks) and wind strips.
The thickness of the aluminum slat should be more than 0.27 mm, and the wall thickness of the main supported part of the slat should be no less than 1.0 mm.
Surface finishings can be anodizing, electrophoretic painting, powder coating (RAL colors or woodgrain colors), and PVDF paint. When anodizing, the film thickness should not be less than 10 um; when powder coating, the film thickness should not be less than 40 um. The surface should be flat and smooth, without cracks, distortions, pits, obvious bumps, hammer marks, scratches, and other defects, and there should be no obvious color difference on the surface.
