There is no doubt that the 7075 aluminum seamless tube has good corrosion resistance and can perform reliably in corrosive environments. However, a bit more action may be required for excessive exposure to these conditions, albeit as a precautionary measure. If for instance, you apply an anodizing treatment, the 7075 aluminum tube can resist corrosion better and consequently last longer. Anodizing adds more aluminum oxide to the 7075 material surface to help protect against exposure to harsh marine conditions. For even better performance in these harsh environments, you may consider polyurethane coatings, epoxy coatings, and other special surface treatments that are more effective against marine conditions.
