That’s because each alloy has its unique mechanical and chemical properties, which can affect the capabilities and vulnerabilities of the material. Our common materials for the alloy extrusions are aluminum 6063, 6061, 6060, 6082, 2024, 7075, and many more. Ask yourself first, what are the demands of my project? If, for instance, you establish that the product will be used in a corrosive environment, then the custom aluminum extrusion must be built from corrosion-resistant alloys. Options for such a project would be a material like 5052 aluminum or 5083 aluminum.  If for construction use, alloy 6063 and 6005 would be great choices for decorative coating.
