The extrusion process is the same for both large aluminum extrusions and small aluminum extrusion. The aluminum billet is heated, put in a press container, and then forced through a die. Extruded profile forms in the shape of the die opening. The sizes of the extrusion press and die determine the size of the aluminum extrusion.
